WELCOME
Laurel's mission is to cultivate grief-literate, compassionate communities through trauma-informed, arts-integrated, and body-aware early childhood education. Understanding grief as a natural human experience deserves care, language, connection, and presence.
Through storytelling, creative expression, somatic awareness, eco-literacy, and relational learning, She aims to normalize conversations around grief, reduce isolation, and strengthen our collective capacity to support one another through loss and change. Her work contributes to a broader community grief literacy movement rooted in emotional safety, developmental understanding, and compassionate action.
Healing happens not only individually, but within relationships, schools, and communities where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

GROWING MEMORIES
MUSICAL AUDIOBOOK BUNDLE
TO BE RELEASED IN JULY, 2026
Where Memories Grow (2026), is an audio storytelling work that transforms an original picture-book manuscript into a musical audiobook. Combining narration, live instrumentation and seasonal soundscapes, the project represents a milestone in Laurie’s inter-arts practice and serves as a foundation for future sound-led storytelling works for young audiences and their carers.
The musical story emerges within a contemporary movement in interdisciplinary sound practice, shaped by immersive, modular, and compositionally integrated forms of audio storytelling.
Here, music and sound are not simply layers beneath the text, but living structures that carry
the story itself, where meaning unfolds slowly, gently, and in time.
